SATA International Donate Material to Orphanages/needy institutions in Cameroon

SATA International Donate Material to Orphanages/needy institutions in Cameroon.

When Capt. Otílio Machado and his volunteers began their Solidarity Action for Douala in September 2009; the generous and kind people of Lisbon, Portugal gave them their support by contributing clothes, shoes, toys, educative materials, food, household items etc. With the help of one of CAPEC past volunteer, who has volunteered in one of the orphanages, the crew were able to identify CAPEC which is supporting a good number of orphanages in Douala and Yaoundé with International volunteers in providing social needs for orphan children. The donation shall be distributed to orphanages in Douala, Yaoundé, and Kumba. Other institutions that shall benefit from the donations are Handicap Centres, Schools for the Deaf, Centres for the blind, and most importantly children in the rural villages, whose parents cannot afford to buy them clothes. During their visit to Cameroon, the SATA Crew was able to visit some of the orphanages which shall benefit from the donation. We hope that the partnership between SATA International and CAPEC shall last for long.
